Detailed review

The machine is packed with connectivity options and is future-proofed with a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port, it has an excellent battery life, and, of course, a fantastic keyboard. It swaps out the Core i7 CPU (which was never fully utilized in the previous unit due to thermal constraints) for a Core i5. The massive 1 TB NVMe SSD has been downsized to a much more affordable 256 GB version. The WQHD display panel has been replaced by an FHD touchscreen with an anti-glare coating. And instead of 16 GB of RAM, we now get 8 GB—but it’s still dual-channel. It has a processor of Kaby Lake Intel Core i5-7300U 2 x 2.6 – 3.5 GHz which is considered a powerful processor for a laptop that has to compete with the best laptops for word processing.

This processor can manage 35 tabs in Chrome, one of which is streaming a 1080p episode of “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. The ThinkPad T470s is designed to protect your data and withstand a few bumps. Lenovo installed a touchpad on the palm rest, allowing you to easily log in to your computer with one tap. A TPM chip protects the biometric information, and every configuration with a suitable CPU (Core i5-7300U or Core i7-7600U) includes vPro for remote maintenance. The ThinkPad T470s comes with three distinct 14-inch screens, all of which are vastly different. The high-end 2560 x 1440 display, which is significantly more vibrant than the ordinary 1080p touch-screen and non-touch-screen versions, is our personal favorite. Typing on a ThinkPad keyboard is usually a delight, and the T470s is no exception. The T470s’ keys are clicky and sensitive, with 1.7 millimeters of travel and 70 grams of force required to operate. On the 10fastfingers.com typing test, I was able to type 108 words per minute. Such speed is always appreciated by individuals looking for the best laptops for word processing

Positive response:

My ThinkPad t470s is the most amazing computer I’ve ever had. It’s exactly as described, 100 percent trustworthy! This laptop comes highly recommended.

I ordered a handful, and they’re all nice and in great shape. !

It’s a good combination of quick responsiveness and performance. It can withstand a lot of abuse, which is great for my middle schooler who uses it as a backup computer at home.

This laptop appeals to me, and I expect it to serve me well. I would recommend this machine to you if you want the durability of a Lenovo but don’t require the latest and greatest.

Negative response:

Cyber Monday deal that has been (supposedly) refurbished. After booting up this laptop booted slowly and had Wi-Fi connectivity troubles.

The battery only lasted about an hour when the left unplugged right out of the box.

Customer’s response after purchasing:

Positive response:

1-Excellent color balance, brightness, and contrast on the screen. On a dark screen, there is no “bleeding” of light. Also, the 1080P display is ideal for watching videos. Touch responsiveness is excellent.

With four cores, hyper-threading, and eight gigabytes of RAM, the computer is quite quick – it can multitask, open multiple web pages, and play a variety of games – though it’s definitely best to use a laptop cooler…..

The keyboard has a wonderful feel and travel, and the backlight is a nice addition with two brightness levels. The trackpad performs admirably.

The sound from the speakers is adequate for a laptop of this size, and the sound through the headphone jack is superb.

The update went off without a hitch. This device starts up in a matter of seconds – it’s quick. Full-size USB ports, USB C ports, HDMI ports, SD connectors, and a headphone jack are all included.

The SSD has 256GB of storage, but it can be expanded using an SD card.

2- I purchased this laptop since it offered several of the features I was looking for in a computer, such as a touchscreen, backlit keyboard, and small size. It arrived in wonderful shape, and it is both gorgeous and powerful. I ended up returning it since my prior laptop was really light, and while this one isn’t particularly hefty, I simply preferred a laptop that was closer to the weight of my old model. It also becomes hot on the bottom quickly after being turned on, which is an annoyance for me.

3- I’m even got used to Windows 10 on this nice little laptop! The touchscreen is quite responsive… I usually use it as a tablet… the standard keyboard is fine, the mousepad is functional, and the fingerprint reader is conveniently located… I have no qualms about it in normal laptop mode. I’m accustomed to android tablets already, so the fact that this machine has a 360* hinge means it can double as a 14″ tablet is fantastic! The hinge is simple to use, but it is strong enough that it has no give… you must purposefully move it. The touchscreen is quite responsive and sensitive. I’m even relearning how to use Windows 10. There is no latency or hesitancy with the Intel Core i5 1035G1 processor, 8GB DDR4, and 256GB SSD.

4- I was apprehensive about purchasing a computer over the internet. When I compared the pricing of this PC on Amazon to that of other authorized retailers, I was a little unsure about my decision. But, hey, we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and I was hoping to conserve money at the time. This PC met all of the requirements I had in mind. This purchase has been half a year in the making, and I have no regrets. The device has a stylish design, is very light, and meets all of my requirements.

Negative response:

1-Take a look at the online reviews. I didn’t do it. I purchased it because of its features. Many individuals are having problems with these. Do your homework if you don’t believe me. I was recently offered $120 for it. I’ll take this because I don’t have any other option.

2-From the start, the computer was a disaster. After setting it up and charging it, the screen went half-black and the keyboard stopped working. I just had the machine for two hours before it died.

3. Dell XPS9360

The popular Dell XPS 13 has received a mid-cycle upgrade for late 2016. The laptop was formerly my top suggestion for the best laptop for word processing, even though it still ranks close to the top, it has a major flaw: the competition is catching up quickly. However, the XPS 13 (9360) is a fantastic laptop. While the new Dell XPS 13 is largely a spec jump over its predecessor, there’s still a lot to handle with the latest Dell XPS 13. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Why this product

This machine is considered in the ranking of best laptops for word processing because of its features and specifications which include Intel Core i3 or i5 processors, 7th generation Intel Core i7 processors, 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors (NEW) with an internal storage of Up to 512GB SSD which enables a laptop for real fast processing, browsing and internet furthermore it includes a RAM of 4GB, 8GB or 16GB LPDDR3 2,133 MHz with display 1080p matte non-touch QHD+ glossy full touch

Detailed review

Our test model has a Core i7-7560U processor. When compared to the ordinary Core i7-7500U found in many high-end Ultrabooks, this ULV processor is built on Intel’s Kaby Lake technology (14nm) and delivers higher Turbo rates (single: 3.8, multi: 3.7 GHz). The quicker integrated Iris GPU is also included in the CPU.
In CPU benchmarks, the Core i7 immediately develops overheating issues. When the processor temperature reaches 98 °C (208 °F), the short 25 W limit (normally attainable for 28 seconds) is slowed down to 15 W after a few seconds. In the Cinebench R15 Single test, the Core i7 still advantages from its high frequency, but in the Multitest, it is at best on par with the standard Core i7-7500U. Sustained workloads, as replicated by a cycle of the CB R15 Multitest, yield scores of 325 to 330 points (3.1 to 3.2 GHz), putting it just ahead of the Core i5-7200U. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

In terms of CPU performance, the Core i7-7560U is not a nice upgrade for the XPS 13. Our test unit comes with a Toshiba 512 GB NVMe-SSD with the XG4 designation (THNSN5512GPUK). In sequential tests, it can’t keep up with Samsung’s fastest drives (like Yoga 920), but the Toshiba drive’s performance is still respectable because it can be considered to be one of the best laptops for word processing The display response time measures how quickly the screen can switch from one color to the next. Afterimages and fuzzy moving objects might occur as a result of slow response times (ghosting). But first, let’s talk about the most crucial aspect: the performance. The first thing that stands out is the processor’s low-performance utilization. In 3DMarks, for example, the identical GPU in the latest Apple MacBook Pro 13 is up to 13% faster. In combination with Kaby Lake CPUs (like the i7-7500U), the improvement over the normal HD Graphics 620 is roughly 30%. The new i7-8550U, on the other hand, is only 15% lower. Although Intel claims that the iGPU really hasn’t altered, the better 14nm+ technology is likely to benefit Turbo efficiency. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Customer response after purchasing

Positive response:

  • Effortless packing
  • Effortless (something I was looking for in a laptop)
  • Even when the screen is dim, it is still quite bright (indoors no problem; still have to try outside)
  • Aural (38 percent is plenty loud in a bedroom)
  • A solid-state drive (SSD) allows for a quick start-up.
  • It was simple to get started.
  • The Biometric READER was not mentioned in the product description, but it came with mine, thus it’s a HUGE BONUS.
  • The keyboard is adaptable.
  • The screen is a touchscreen with QHD resolution.
  • The design and finish are outstanding. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

I might not have contemplated buying a Dell if it hadn’t been for this purchase. The build quality, on the other hand, is pretty impressive, and I’m not sure what magic is giving these 7560s a reputation for being great at encoding/decoding/flopping/lifting weights, but I can absolutely confirm they’re blessed. My OC’d water-cooled 4790k does a fine job of securing sectors on various Samsung Pro SSDs in preparation for garbage OSes, but I’m particularly surprised with the quickness of these two core 7560s. They also feature a lower starting clock speed than the 7500s, resulting in better battery life but a higher boost clock rate.

I’m upgrading from a Late 2012 Apple Retina MacBook Pro. I’ve been in the lookout for a new laptop for a time, but the latest MacBook Pro models disappointed me. I won’t go into detail about the new models because there are simply too many. I started searching for a new MacBook air that would meet all of my requirements. My laptop is primarily used for web browsing, word processing, spreadsheets, Netflix viewing, and minor image editing. After considering a number of options for a new MacBook Pro, I settled just on Dell XPS 13. So far, I’ve been quite pleased with it, especially because it included a fingerprint reader, something I hadn’t anticipated. After I’ve had a chance to use the laptop for a long,

The battery lasts the entire day. The screen is stunning. It has sufficient processing capacity to run consumer editing software at a reasonable pace.

Negative response

I would not purchase this item again. There are multiple faults that come equipped. You’ll have to delete and reinstall drivers because they won’t stay working. The mouse pad randomly malfunctions, necessitating numerous resets. It won’t turn on for no apparent reason. Is it a whole lemon or just a crap model? DO NOT PURCHASE.

The laptop simply quit operating after a few weeks of light use (about 3-4 twice a week, 3-4 hours). When I was watching YouTube, I noticed that the laptop got heated. It was great, but it won’t switch on any longer = instant 1 star; I’ll have to return it and lose all files. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

4. Apple MacBook Air

If you need a laptop that allows you to write in Word, compute accounting data with MS Sheets or do word processing, the Apple MacBook Air is the laptop for you. It has a very elegant appearance and is available in three colors: gold, silver, and grey. Furthermore, it has a screen resolution that is really high. This laptop’s word processing is lightning fast, regardless of the task you’re working on. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Why this product:

We consider Apple MacBook Air as one of the best laptops for word processing with fast internet and browsing because of the following specifications. The Apple MacBook Air 2020 is a macOS notebook with a 13.30-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It is equipped with an Intel Core i3 processors and 8GB of RAM. The SSD storage capacity of an Apple MacBook Air 2020 is 256GB which results in fast browsing and processing. Integrated Graphics Processor is in charge of the graphics. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, and Headphone and Mic Combo Jack connections are among the connectivity options.

Detailed review:

For years, Apple’s MacBook Air is a tried-and-true favorite among ultraportable. The performance of the MacBook Air has always been overshadowed by its size and price, but that has changed with the arrival of Apple’s own M1 chip. Apple ditched its long-standing usage of Intel processors in favor of its proprietary semiconductor solution, giving the MacBook Air a fresh lease on life. The MacBook Air will be available with a new 13-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini, both of which will be powered by the M1 system-on-a-chip (SoC). All of them are remarkable, but the MacBook Air’s upgrade stands out to make it the best laptop for word processing. The MacBook Air is still one of the finest luxurious portable designs available. It is one of the thinnest laptops available, measuring 0.63 by 11.97 by 8.36 inches (HWD) and weighing 2.8 pounds, making it one of the lightest laptops available. Apple’s new Magic Keyboard has finally replaced the much-maligned butterfly keyboard, which was prone to dust and broken keys. The latter is, of course, back, delivering a far greater keyboard than that of the butterfly keyboard while also eliminating the butterfly mechanism’s flaws. Furthermore, the Touch ID sensors in the top right corner of the keypad allow you to turn on the laptop and sign in along with your fingerprint, effectively eliminating the need for passwords. The MacBook Air doesn’t have a Touch Bar like the MacBook Pro, so you’ll have to rely on the physical escape button in the upper left corner of the laptop. This will appeal to some customers; the Touchscreen is divisive. More importantly, because of its synthetic haptics, the touchpad is surprisingly smooth and fast when panning and pressing. Because the touchpad responds digitally, you’ll get the same feel from clicks and pushes no regardless of where you press on it. The touchpad is especially pleasant and snappy, making this the best laptop for word processing. Then there’s the display, which is as dazzling as ever. This time, Apple’s 13.3-inch Retina Display is used, with a resolution of 2,560 by 1,600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. This is significantly greater than just the full HD (1,920 by 1,080-pixel) resolution seen on the majority of modern laptops.

The Retina Display’s resolution is incredibly sharp without even being overkill for the light kind of general usage tasks that a MacBook Air is built for. The MacBook Air comes with a 720p front-facing webcam, which is more vital than ever in this age of working remotely, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth support. When it comes to physical connections, there aren’t many on this laptop: On the left side of the MacBook Air, there are 2 USB Type-C ports and a headphone jack. Both these USB-C ports are at minimum versatile, with Thunderbolt 3, charging, and media out compatibility (DisplayPort). Adapters for VGA and HDMI outputs are sold separately and can be used with the ports. Aside from the monitor, there’s a touchpad, a keyboard, and other functions. This variant comes with an Apple M1 processor (eight processing cores and seven graphics cores), 8GB of storage, and a 256GB SSD. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Customer response after purchasing:

Positive response:

I think it was the best $500 I’ve ever spent. AND THE COMPANY IS AMAZING! I emailed them since the charger won’t work as soon as it enters it. I received an email from them within an hour saying they were giving me a new charger, which I used until I got mine. The battery lasted around 2-3 days, so it wasn’t too horrible.

This is by far the best investment I’ve ever made! The laptop arrived in perfect shape and on schedule. It performs admirably and flawlessly for both my personal and professional purposes.

My new MacBook Air is fantastic; it arrived on time and in perfect shape (relatively like-new condition). This was my first Mac, and I’d buy it refurbished again because you save a lot of money and get practically the same quality.

Because of all of the negative reviews I’d read, I was hesitant to order, but I’m glad I did! My computer arrived in perfect shape, with no scratches, the correct charger, and it loads quickly. My first Mac computer and your girl is on a budget, so I wasn’t going to pay $1000 for a computer, but generally, I’m satisfied!

May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Negative response:

It seemed to start up slowly, which I expected given that it’s an older model. Everything appeared to be in order once it had booted up (after approximately 10 minutes). However, when I tried to do something with it, such as sign in to it with my Apple ID, view a webpage, or download an update, it failed miserably. In fact, whenever I connected the PC to it, it seemed to crash our entire network. We attempted a number of remedies with no luck (we’ve owned a number of MacBooks before, so this isn’t a new system for us). This is being returned because it is a defective piece of equipment.

The laptop arrived in fine working order. I got it to use as a traveling laptop and used it a few hours per week. 2 months after buying, the battery capacity was non-existent, and it had to be connected into a source of power to function. The charger inflated up until the point where the keypad is now higher and concave after the third month. Since then, the laptop has indeed been utterly unusable, so it will not even turn on. The battery and keypad will set me back the same amount as the laptop.

May you get the best laptop for word processing.

5. Microsoft Surface Book CR9-00001

This 2-in-1 laptop can be used as a tablet or a laptop. It was primarily created for office workers and university students to complete all word processing jobs quickly and easily. Its ergonomic shape makes it simple to operate, and its tiny size allows it to be transported anywhere. Which makes it one of the best laptops for word processing. The CR9-00001 is a removable laptop with a screen that can be simply detached when you want to use it as a touchscreen and reattached when you need to use it as a laptop. Additionally, it enables you to process many files at once with speed and ease. This also makes it one of the best laptops for browsing and internet usage. With Windows 10 installed, you have limitless access to the most recent Word templates, making your work easier. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Why this product:

Processing is super-fast thanks to 16 GB RAM and a Core i7 processor. A machine with such fast processing speed can serve a purpose for the best word processing laptop. It provides the ability to load and process multiple files at once which is another quality of a laptop that is considered the best laptop for word processing. It has an Hd+ display that allows you to read files in their original font size. It features a lot of storage space, allowing customers to get as many documents as they want while keeping them safe.

Detailed review:

The “ultimate laptop,” according to Microsoft, is designed to compete with Apple’s MacBook Pro or premium Windows computers. The Surface Book is essentially a laptop, but it can also be used as a tablet owing to a display that can be detached and used as a digital clipboard. When you first see the Surface Book, it’s valid to evaluate it to the MacBook Pro. There’s a large trackpad, good keyspace on the keypad, and a sleek black and silver color scheme. Inside the Surface Book, Microsoft has chosen premium laptop specs. The base model I’ve been testing has 8GB of RAM and is powered by Intel’s newest Core i5 processor, which is quick. Web browsing, some little Photoshop, and standard desktop programs all run smoothly. There is also another model with 16GB of RAM and a Core i7 processor. For my basic work needs, I haven’t found any significant differences between the two models, but the Core i7 model benefits from the NVidia GPU integrated in the base. NVidia does not yet provide drivers directly. The redesigned fulcrum hinge is the most exciting and unique feature of the Surface Book. It snakes all around Surface Book’s base and display, and it looks fantastic, like an Alien movie. Microsoft has included a small keyboard that allows you to unlock the display from the base. It’s like pressing one of those strange buttons that allow the user to enter a hidden room.

It also allows you to remove the screen and use it as a large tablet. On some configurations, there are USB Type ports, a full SSD reader, a micro DisplayPort, and an extra NVidia GPU. It’s a docking station for the tablet. When you’re done using it as a touchscreen, simply dock it back in, and it’ll stay together thanks to magnetic and a “muscle wire” locking that keeps it firmly in place. It’s an ingenious bit of design, but it runs on battery power. When the display is turned off, you can remove it, but if you exhaust the battery, you’ll have to wait until it’s at least 10% charged before you could even undock it. Windows 10 also does a decent job of transitioning between touch-friendly and keyboard-and-mouse-friendly modes, especially if you set everyone to do it automatically. For me, battery capacity is among the most important aspects of a laptop. While the tablet part should last roughly 4 hours, Microsoft promises that it can last up to 12 hours when used as a laptop. It’s not a lie. A Windows notebook with excellent battery life is quite rare. I’m surprised it can last me a whole working day. I’ve found that it lasts roughly 7 hours when used in a variety of ways other than just perusing the web. That’s all day of HD movies, Photoshop, and perusing the web with Twitter open. The tablet takes about 2 hours to charge, and both need about 4 or 5 hours to charge. So because the keyboard and tablet share the very same USB connector, you can charge them both with a single cable or charge them separately in conventional laptop mode. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Customer response after purchasing Microsoft Surface Book CR9-00001:

Positive response:

This is the quickest and easiest PC I’ve ever had in my over 30 years of computer ownership. The reality that it folds flat and transforms into a tablet allows working closely with my photos, which is why I chose this model. It’s small and light, and there’s no way of knowing how I’ll think about that six months after the fact.

I’m really enjoying the format and how adaptable it is. You can imagine my delight in moving from Lenovo with Windows 7. So far, its performance has been excellent, and after modifying the sleep/battery saving modes a little, I’m not experiencing any of the inactive screen situations that several posts have reported.

I like how the CPU heatsink is on the touchscreen part, so my laps never get hot when I’m using it as a laptop. It’s fantastic. In laptop mode, I wish the hinges would enable me to push it back half an inch farther. The battery life is fantastic. It doesn’t worry me if it shuts off due to my inaction so it comes back on soon so I can pick up wherever I left off.

The greatest Windows laptop on the market. Because it’s the only irritation, I hope there was a non-HiDPI version. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Negative response

I’m a left-handed person. When using the pen (with the screen reversed), I can’t rest my hands on the screen without it quitting to the desktop practically every time. This is quite inconvenient and prevents me from doing my task.

Then there isn’t much you can do about it. If you are using one of these laptops, I strongly advise you to back up all of your files and data to the cloud. Even if the keyboard’s battery does not die, the monitor’s battery will.

6. HP Spectre x360-15t:

With its stunning design, this machine is a great piece of craftsmanship. It has a smooth user interface and works on Windows 10, making it quite compatible with the best laptop for word processing programs. Because of the HP Specter’s Intel Core processor, users enjoy the highest working performance. Because of the 16GB of DDR4, it maintains its performance even after extended use. In low-light situations, writing is made easier by the backlit keyboard, which provides a wonderful, fast, and effortless typing experience. When you don’t want to use the keyboard, you can utilize the touch screen, which allows finger-touch navigation. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Why this product:

When typing, an ergonomic keyboard generates no noise. On a single charge, the battery may last up to 8 hours of continuous operation people who want to buy a laptop for work on regular bases might want to pay attention to this feature of the laptop. The Windows 10 operating system makes it compatible with almost all word processing programs hence it is considered the best laptop for word processing. An i7-8550U Intel Core Processor from the 8th Generation ensures a consistently smooth working experience, regardless of the task at hand.

Detailed review:

The HP Spectre x360 15 is an excellent example of laptop compromises. The high-end variant is available in a variety of configurations, ranging from graphics cards and a basic LCD screen to a stunning 4K OLED display with NVidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q graphics. While they all appear to be gorgeous exterior, the experience you have inside—and the amount you pay differ dramatically based on the decisions you make. HP puts a lot of effort into the design of its flagship Spectre model. The laptop’s chassis is made up of a solid piece of CNC-machined aluminum with angled—excuse me, “gem-cut”—edges protruding outward around the perimeter. The power button is on one side, and a USB-C connector is on the other, therefore the two inside ends are slanted. The speaker grille has a diamond-shaped design as well. The Spectre x360 has a slight decline curve around the keyboard, giving the screen an almost pillowy appearance. Hot air is sent out through vents on both sides.

The Spectre x360 15 is a convertible laptop with a touchscreen that can swivel 360 degrees into full screen, as the name suggests. Although this versatility is appealing, keep in mind that a stylus is not included, and the screen section is so weighty that it is prone to tip back in your lap. The OLED screen is quite amazing, with deep blacks, vibrant colors The keyboard on the Spectre x360 15 is one of the nicest you’ll find on laptops today. The base is solid, the keys are fast without being unduly hard, and it’s also quiet. The edge-to-edge design allows for a spacious numeric keypad, and the extra-large lettering on the keys is a welcome addition. And HDR video capability. Despite the fact that OLED displays have lower intensity ratings than LED displays, some of the improvements HP included around the camera make the laptop stand out. For voice calls and video chat, the dual-array microphone offers rich audio, and the keyboard features a dedicated mic mute button. On the right side of the laptop, there’s a hardware webcam kill button (still uncommon), and the camera is bordered by biometric scanners for Windows Hello facial recognition. (A fingerprint reader is also available.) On the performance aspect, the HP Spectre x360 15 is a curious beast. While it performs admirably in entry-level gaming, it is prone to overheating, turning on its fans, and reducing processing capacity for workhorse computing chores. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Customer response after purchasing HP Spectre x360-15t:

Positive response:

What a fantastic convertible laptop. With an i7 gen 8 processor, GeForce graphics, and 512GB and 16GB of RAM, this HP has all the bells and whistles you’d expect. I use it for difficult graphic programs, which operate flawlessly on this computer. If you’re searching for a good convertible, look no further. That’s it!

They not only sell equipment at lower prices, but they also provide superior customer service than HP.

This is a fantastic system. I was unable to comprehend the code in order to switch Windows to Pro and hence left a negative rating. I WAS IN FACT WRONG. EXCELLENT COMPUTER, FAST SERVICE In every aspect, this is commendable. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

The Spectre will accomplish far more than I’ll ever need, and I’d buy from such a vendor again in a heartbeat because of their excellent customer service and patience. I’ve been using it for two months and am really pleased with its results. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Negative response

This review has been upgraded from one to three stars. Something to keep in mind is that these come pre-installed with Windows 10 Home and a key to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. This is a pain you might like to avoid by just looking for a laptop that comes preloaded with Pro. It was taken care of by the vendor, although it took a few days of back-and-forth.

The cursor issue on it is so bad that it effectively makes the laptop useless to me, and neither HP nor Amazon recognizes their flaw without charging exorbitant restocking fees, and it’s so bad that I can’t even type correctly all of the time because the cursor jumps so much that I just say oh well, forget it and move on.

7. Acer Chromebook CB3-532-C8DF

This Chromebook is among the best for word processing out of all the Chromebooks. Chromebooks run Google’s operating system instead of Apple’s or Microsoft’s. Because Google’s operating system is entirely reliant on the internet, you’re encouraged to stay connected at all times. The internet connection speed, not the hardware placed on the laptop, measures the rate of this laptop. The benefit of this is that it doesn’t matter if your laptop has bad hardware because it won’t impair its performance as long as you’re connected to Wi-Fi.

Why this product:

The Intel Celeron Core N3060 processor gives you all the speed you need to complete all of your duties quickly. 15.5-inch display that is both comfortable and low-reflective002E it has a storage of 4GB DDR3L and SDRAM of 1600, allowing you to operate multiple tabs and applications at the same time without crashing. Its 16GB eMMC storage expands internal storage and is compatible with mobile devices. On a full charge, it offers a battery life of up to 12 hours of continuous operation. The above-mentioned specifications are the key specs of being the best laptop for word processing.

Detailed review:

The Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532 in this iteration isn’t a top-of-the-line performer. This isn’t the Chromebook for you if you frequently have a couple of tab open and are broadcasting YouTube videos and editing Google Docs while viewing multiple other pages at the same time. Even when loading only one ad- and JavaScript-heavy website, performance can slow. However, if you only need to do simple online browsing and social networks duties, you’ll be good with this Chromebook. This Chromebook can also run Android apps downloaded from the Google Play store. Basic applications like Instagram run great, and some 3-dimensional games like Real Racing appear to be playable. The images were a touch jaggy and jerky, but they were still enjoyable to see. Because most Chromebooks are 11-inch or 13-inch, this Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532 makes me feel like I’m sitting in front of a giant screen TV. However, in this case, a bigger display does not imply a higher resolution. The maximum resolution is 1536864, which means that the text on the display is larger.

Despite its size, the screen is fairly disappointing. The colors are muted, and the view angle is restricted. If you look at the display from an angle or don’t have the tilt just correct, the display fades out. Netflix and YouTube still are available to watch, but they pale in contrast to the capabilities of many other laptops. This Chromebook’s larger screen comes with a bigger construction. It reminded me of a laptop from around 2005 when ultra-books were still a thing. The Acer Chromebook 15 is huge and thick, and it takes up a lot of area in my laptop bag, even though it isn’t particularly heavy. It’s about the same size as an Alien ware, but with a third of the computing power. The big size has the benefit of a physical keyboard that does not feel constricted, despite the lack of a numeric keypad. Typing a Google Doc or a long letter is really relaxing. On each side of the laptop, there are two USB 3.0 ports. The recharging port, HDMI output, and headphone jack are all located on the left side. The battery life is excellent, averaging 10 to 12 hours and allowing you to travel a whole day without recharging. Because the charger is proprietary (it doesn’t support USB-C), you’ll need to bring extra a charging brick with you on your trip. With USB-C being the de facto standard, I would have wanted at the very least a USB-C charging connector. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Customer response after purchasing Acer Chromebook CB3-532-C8DF:

Positive response:

This Chromebook from Acer is a fantastic buy. The speakers could be louder, but other than that, it’s a fantastic value!

Super quick, cheap, and a wonderful value for money!!

This was purchased as a present for my mother, and she really adores it. It’s ideal for watching videos, surfing the web, and performing basic tasks.

I’ve never really had a Chromebook before, and I adore it! It was used/discounted and works perfectly! I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t want it. I’d suggest it!

May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Negative response:

Within 6 months, the battery stopped charging and the display went black and wouldn’t turn on.

The battery does not stay plugged in. When you move the adapter or the laptop even slightly, the charging stops completely. When you plug the adapter in, you don’t get a clear click of insertion; it feels loose and unsecured.

8. Dell 13 7000 7370 Inspiron:

Do you have a limited budget and need to finish all of your word processing tasks? If so, the Dell 13 7000 7370 could be just what you’re looking for. Despite its modest price, it provides more for a laptop on a budget. Because of its beautiful panel, you may complete all of your tasks outside in a simple and pleasurable manner with this laptop. This laptop is extremely responsive, making word processing as simple and quick as possible. Its 8GB DDR4 RAM allows you to run numerous apps at the same moment without slowing down the system’s performance, that’s why it is considered one of the best laptops for word processing.

Why this product:

Because this laptop is so responsive, word processing is as simple as well as quick as possible. Its 8GB DDR4 RAM lets you run multiple apps at once without stuttering the system’s functionality It has a biometric feature that lets you securely enter into your system with just one glance. Working outside with a 300-nit panel eliminates the need for stress and interferes with the graphic quality. Load times are significantly faster with 8 GB DDR4 memory, as well as a higher bandwidth. Furthermore, irrespective of how many programs are operating at the same time, it allows for quick and easy switching between them hence it’s considered in best laptops for word processing and browsing as well. It has a 180-degree hinge that allows you to twist it in any direction you like. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Detailed review:

Dell introduces the Inspiron 13 7000 (7370), a compact and mobile office computer with a smart aluminum case that stands out thanks to (among many other things) a completely new Intel Core i5-8250U SoC CPU with four distinct cores (Benchmarks and SpecsCore i5-8250U), whereas its older counterparts had to make do with dual-core processors. Our evaluation machine is the cheapest option, with 8 GB RAM, a Full-HD IPS-Display, 256 GB SSD, as well as the apparently new Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU included. TPM and other safety features are also present. The operating system Windows 10 Home comes pre-installed. With only 38 WH, the battery seems to be quite little. It comes with the following specifications. Processor

Intel Core i5-8250U 4 x 1.6 – 3.4 GHz, Kaby Lake Refresh which is a suitable processor for the best laptop for word processing. Both storage slots are occupied, memory8192 MB, DDR4, 2400 MHz, Dual Channel. It has a storage 1100 MTFDDAV256TBN, 256 GB Storage Micron 1100 MTFDDAV256TBN, 256 GB. It also has 3 USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen1 ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 Kensington lock port Audio Connections: Stereo audio in/out, 3,5 mm Klinke, SD/SDHC/SDXC Card Reader, 1 Fingerprint Scanner, Brightness Sensor. The floral patterns on the back of the lid, the illuminating Dell-logo, the extremely glossy rim of the ClickPad, and the prominent on/off key that serves as a fingerprint scanner are the only visual features of the plain silver matte case. The case is slightly sunken beneath the ClickPad, but the top of the base’s edges are too sharp. Fingerprints are impossible to detect on any surface, and the given subnotebook always appears to be fresh new. The Inspiron 13 7000 has three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one of which is a Type C port, and one of which can recharge USB devices even while the laptop is switched off. Thunderbolt and DisplayPort connectors are not available; only HDMI is available. The distance between the ports isn’t huge, but it’s enough. The ports on both sides of the Dell are located at the back, where there is less chance of inadvertent contact with cables and USB sticks.

The Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265, a typical Wi-Fi module from 2014, is in charge of wireless communications. Under ideal conditions, one meter (3 feet) distant from our standard router Linksys EA8500, the review device leads the group in terms of internet speeds and comes very near to exceeding the overhead limit. However, it falls short of expectations when it comes to data collection. Naturally, Bluetooth is incorporated. Those who want to use the latest 4.2 version will almost certainly need to upgrade their drivers. Wireless communications are handled by the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265, a common Wi-Fi module from 2014. The evaluation device outperforms the class in terms of online speeds and comes dangerously close to breaching the overhead limit when placed one meter (3 feet) from our basic router Linksys EA8500. When it comes to data collection, unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. Bluetooth is, of course, included. Users who want to use the most recent 4.2 version of the software will almost probably need to update their drivers. The pixel density of 165 PPI is achieved by the 1920×1080 screen resolution. Images are bright and crisp as a result.

The maximum average intensity of 291 cd/m2 (on battery: 246 cd/m2) is just shy of earning a “good” rating. The huge touchpad, which is essentially a ClickPad sans the physical keys, is securely fastened to the chassis and does not rattle. Even wet fingers glide across the rough, feedback-friendly surface better than other touchpads with a shiny finish. There are no issues with response times; quick movements are recognized, and drag and drop through double clicking works properly.

Customer response after purchasing

Positive response:

The screen’s color, brightness, and clarity are all superb, plus it’s a touchscreen display. I was scared before I saw the display next to me, but there was nothing to be concerned about!

At this pricing point, you won’t find many machines with sturdy aluminum chassis. It’s a tiny MacBook Air with the excellent build quality.

There isn’t a lot of bloatware installed…

Only McAfee and Microsoft Office 365 trial applications were available.

When we talk about the best laptop for word processing, browsing, or the internet

This equipment comes highly recommended by me!

This laptop is just stunning. It appeals to me greatly. The screen is huge and clear, and the keypad is spacious. It’s a little thicker on the bottom than I anticipated, but it is a little heavy overall than I anticipated. It’s still a fantastic item.

I got this computer on Black Friday and waited six months to write reviews. This computer is fantastic. From the moment you open the box, it’s also very easy to set up, has a quick response time when opening applications, has a long battery life (it was at half power after 4 hours without being plugged in) and has an excellent size/weight ratio. This computer is generally used for business, study, and video viewing. Also, I used to be a huge HP fan, but after this experience, I’ve switched to Dell!

This is a fantastic laptop. This is exactly what I was looking for in terms of lightness and slimness. Because I am actively working, the battery capacity lasts a long time, and I can easily go an entire day with it in my purse. Even though it has a loud fan than others, it hasn’t affected me at the house or on the road.

May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Negative response:

This laptop was intended to be our traveling computer when we went out of town, but it was only used a few times. Then it occurred to me: what if it fails before the warranty period is up? So I instructed my daughter to turn it on now and then or use it for internet browsing. The Dell unexpectedly wouldn’t boot up a few days later. It performed a self-diagnosis and gave all green checkmark results, but it then became stuck in repair mode. After an hour of searching with a helpdesk representative, he recommended that I return it to Dell for maintenance.

Updates prompted bit lockers to lock me out of my machine after two years. Dell then gives me a hundred dollars for the recovery key. It’s a built-in ruse that no honest company would engage in. Dell is not a trustworthy company.

9. Acer Aspire E5-576-392H:

The Acer Aspire E5-576-392H is a comprehensive package, and it is one of the best laptops for word processing that we have tested. It is one of the best in the business in terms of efficiency and organizational value. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Why this product:

The Intel Core i3-8130U processor from the newest 8th generation is used in this laptop. In fact, the performance of this processor is comparable to that of the 7th generation Core i5. As a result, this laptop can easily handle word processing. This notebook also comes with a whopping 6 GB of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive. The RAM is higher than our recommended minimum of 4GB, and the 1 TB hard drive is large enough to store a large number of multimedia files. Aside from that, this is one of the few inexpensive laptops on the market that can fit a Full HD screen.

Detailed review:

This $379 Acer Aspire E15 (E5-576-392H) features an 8th-generation dual-core Core i3-8130U processor (on the low end of Intel’s Core CPU series for machines), 6GB of DDR3 RAM (up a couple of gigs from last year’s budget edition), and a 1TB hard drive. A 15.6-inch HD (19201080) display, integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics (so don’t expect much in the way of gaming), and a truthful 8X DVD-RW optical drive are among the features you won’t find on a laptop any longer. The Acer Aspire E15, powered by an 8th-generation Core i3 processor, is an excellent everyday workhorse, capable of web browsing, productivity programs, casual photo editing, and even playing old DVDs. For a sub-$400 laptop, that’s a fairly outstanding bundle, and it’s easy to see why this version consistently ranks at the top of the list of best laptops for word processors.

The Core i3-8130U edition of the Acer Aspire E15 measures 15 x 10.2 x 1.2 inches and weighs roughly 5 pounds, 1 ounce (or 5 pounds, 10 ounces when you include the 65-watt power brick). It feels and looks almost identical to last year’s budget model—that is, sleek and professional but undeniably weighty. While the Aspire E15 isn’t ultraportable, you’ll have a difficult time finding a slim-and-light shell with comparable features for less than twice the price. The etched lid of the E15 is subtle and tasteful, while the brushed aluminum surface of the palm rest appears to be quite sharp. Although the E15’s plastic casing gives it away as a budget option, the machine as a whole seems reassuringly strong.

The 15.6-inch display on the Acer Aspire E15 has the same benefits and drawbacks as last year’s budget model. The screen is reasonably sharp and vibrant when seen straight-on—and I mean directly straight-on—and is absolutely suitable for web browsing, editing Word documents, or dealing with pivot tables hence it is considered the best laptop for word processing as well. When you turn your head side to side or bend the display up or down, the Aspire E15’s display reveals its budget origins. The display bursts out and turns reverse as you bend the lid down, and the brightness and contrast change drastically based on the viewing angle. These are unmistakable symptoms of a non-IPS display. The matted style of the keycaps, the somewhat bendy midsection of the primary keypad, and the lack of lighting give the Acer Aspire E15’s keyboard an inexpensive vibe. The squashed 10-key numeric keyboard (which is also seen on more expensive E15 versions) is inconvenient, as is the odd form of the navigation arrows.

Those expecting Thunderbolt 3 connections on Acer’s budget-friendly Aspire E15 will be dissatisfied, but if you have an old VGA monitor that you want to attach to your laptop, prepare to be ecstatic. A USB 3.1 Type C connector (up to 5Gbps), a network jack (with a hinged drop jaw), a VGA port, a complete HDMI port, and a pair of USB 3.0 Type-A connections are located on the left side of the i3-powered E15. A Kensington laptop lock is also located on the left side.

Customer response after purchasing:

Positive response:

I’m hardly the most technologically advanced person on the planet. I knew I wanted to replace my old PC before it died because it was becoming unstable. I conducted some price comparisons on Amazon before settling on this Acer. It has enough room and is quick enough for me. I don’t play games on this laptop, so I’m not familiar with graphics and such. I believe I purchased a good laptop for the money, and it meets my basic needs.

This is an excellent product. This laptop improves on the previous model, which only had Skylake 6 series processors. For the price, the 8th generation processor is capable of a lot. The only stumbling block is the 5400rpm hard drive. Simply purchase a 2.5″ solid-state drive and a SATA to USB converter. As soon as the machine is set up, plug the drive in to use macrium reflection to replicate the drive.

So this laptop is a lot better than the one I had before. My only criticism is Microsoft’s attempt to dictate how and what you can run on Windows10 instead of allowing the consumer to make that decision. Aside from that, the battery life is excellent and charging is quick. The system boots up and shuts down quickly. And the proportion of size to weight is even greater than I anticipated.

Negative response:

It started out well, but as upgrades came in, it grew increasingly slow. I did get rid of the bloat, and now this gadget has a hard time opening programs and browsing websites. I wanted to love this, but it’s painfully sluggish0021

For approximately two weeks, it worked perfectly, but then it got extremely slow to load and reply. I ran a virus scan but couldn’t figure out why it was operating so slowly. I’m going to return it for a return.

10. Lenovo Idea pad 320 15.6″ – AMD A12 Quad-Core Processor:

Because it is the most powerful laptop on the list, it is also the most costly. This is the laptop to choose if you want the minimum frustrating working experience possible while working on word processing. Also, if you ever plan on using a laptop for chores such as casual photo editing and want a future-proof machine, this is a good piece to have. May you get the best laptop for word processing.

Why this product:

The AMD A12 Quad-Core processor is included in this Lenovo Idea pad. This CPU is a lower mid-range processor with a basic clock speed of 2.7 GHz per core and the ability to boost to 3.6 GHz per core. In conclusion, this is an excellent processor to consider. Because it is so inexpensive, it is surely not overkilled for word processing. This laptop also comes with an excellent 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1 TB hard drive. In our opinion, 8 GB of RAM is the highest limit of RAM that should be used for word processing. Any more is a waste of time. As a result, this laptop is ideal for that purpose. Finally, if you’re looking for smooth performance, this is undoubtedly one of the best laptops for word processing.

Customer response after purchasing Lenovo Idea pad 320 15.6″:

Positive response:

This laptop has exceeded my expectations. I wanted a screen that was “decent” in size so that viewing numerous videos wouldn’t be too taxing. The keypad has a nice feel to it. It was really simple to set up and adjust for my requirements.

It’s the perfect size for a small table, and I enjoy how the buttons are plain on the keyboard, making it easy to clean.

I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but it’s a fantastic work laptop for me. It’s fantastic.

Negative response

I got this computer and have only used it twice because it isn’t working properly. The keyboard is completely broken. This has disappointed me greatly! I squandered all of my funds.

I’ve had it for 6 months and only use it occasionally. It’s SLOW, it FREEZES, and it’s LOUD – it is a piece of rubbish that isn’t worth your money. Lenovo has completely disappointed me, and I’ll never, ever purchase from them again. Because of the laptop freezing, I’ve lost a lot of work (once every 30 minutes). That would be the worst buy I’ve ever made – it’s been six months and I’ve had so many issues with it that I’m barely using it.
